Linocut is one of the most satisfying crafts you can learn — you carve a design into a soft block, roll ink across it, and press it onto paper to make an original print you can reproduce as many times as you want. It's meditative, forgiving, and the results look seriously impressive. In this class you'll design, carve, and print your own small edition of 4 prints to take home.

  • Designing for printmaking — what works and what doesn't
  • Safe carving technique with gouges
  • How to ink a block evenly
  • Registration for clean, consistent prints
  • How to create a small edition and sign your prints like a real printmaker
